Open Advisory Board Roles + Descriptions
Advisory Board roles are volunteer positions; that is, they do not offer equity. The time commitment is 1-3 hours per month each quarter, plus one quarterly meeting with Katie. A contract will be provided outlining specifics and terms. Work beyond the agreed-upon scope of Board Membership will be negotiated and determined separately and contracted at normal vendor rate.

Role: To advise on grant-writing efforts, and assist the organization with creative funding sources and strategy.

Role: Advise on financial planning, budgeting, and fundraising strategies.

Role: Guide efforts to connect us to new members of the community who will align with our mission.

Role: Provide input on educational initiatives. Advise on curriculum development, partnerships with educational institutions, and effective ways to engage the community in educational activities.

Role: Help plan and execute memorable events, recommend best practices for event management.
